Analysis[]
After the collapse of the Hyrule Scrolls Party, the Birthday Party was swept to power once again. Determined to prove themselves more worthy of office than their predecessors, they implemented a considerable number of new laws and reforms, most of which were popular and succesful. However, the government was severely damaged by the "Doctorgate" scandal. False information about doctors pay was used to pass a bill through the house of commons, and the Environment Secretary resigned in disgrace. Although the government implemented measures to try and prevent the crisis from worsening, they were unable to regain the trust of the populace. Shortly before the election, Eriatarka1 announced that he was not intending to seek another term as Prime Minister. At the election, the party was defeated.
