The Money Minister is responsible for the Ministry of Money. The minister is required to answer questions regarding the government's monetary policy in the House of Commons, and though he or she has no other official responsibilities, it is generally expected that the Money Minister will come up with suitable policy and legislation regarding monetary issues. The Money Minister will also generally be expected to make the budget at the start of a parliamentary term.
